Komainu and rain

This is called a "Komainu(guardian dog)", and it is a Japanese beast that resembles a lion or a dog and is considered to be an imaginary creature.  As a statue, it is often placed facing the front left and right, such as on both sides of the entrance to a shrine or temple, or facing the worshipers with their backs facing the temples and shrines to be protected.  There are various theories about the meaning of "komainu", but it seems that it was used as a guardian deity of gods and thrones, and as an amulet.
It doesn't usually feel it on a sunny day, but on a rainy day during the rainy season in Japan, the rain fills the surface of the stone statue with water droplets and smoothes it, scattering the light and making it glossy.
It is the only sight that can only be seen during this season of fresh green and the rainy season.  Take a look at some of the beauty of Japan.

The rain-wet moss turns deep green and fascinates people.
I added it because I received a request to see my works of plants.
On cloudy days, the colors of the plants are beautifully projected.😊

Bamboo and acorn leaves get wet in the rain, and the water scatters the light, making the plants even more vibrant.
The small shrine also shows the local people's appreciation for nature and respect for God.
No matter how advanced the times or how the scenery changes, its beauty and appearance will never change.

Could you feel the texture and beauty of Japan during the rainy season?  😊
I would like to continue to convey the four seasons and beauty of Japan.
